Villa College and Villa International School are celebrating 17 years of service, marking a significant milestone in their contribution to the Maldives' education and development. MP Qasim Ibrahim, Chairman of both institutions, shared his pride in their achievements and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing education for local youth.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Qasim emphasized his vision of creating higher education opportunities within the country, noting his dedication to building a comprehensive platform for modern education in the Maldives. He highlighted the broad range of programs offered by Villa College, from A-level and certificate courses to diploma, bachelor's, and master's degree programs. These programs are accredited by internationally renowned universities and recognized by the Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA).
Qasim also underscored the success of Villa College in shaping future leaders, with thousands of students having graduated from its programs and gone on to successful careers. “I am incredibly proud to recognize that Villa College and Villa International High School have played a pivotal role in shaping our nation’s future by spreading knowledge and empowering the next generation,” he shared, extending his congratulations to all students and alumni.
He gave special recognition to Dr. Ahmed Anwar, Rector of Villa College, for his exceptional leadership since the institution’s inception. Qasim expressed his deep appreciation to Dr. Anwar, along with the Vice Rectors, deans, lecturers, and administrative staff, for their tireless dedication to the success of the institution.
