Universal Enterprises Funds Advanced Medical Training for Maldivian Doctors

Universal Enterprises has announced its sponsorship of advanced medical training for three doctors. The sponsorships were awarded during a special ceremony held at the company's headquarters, underscoring Universal Enterprises' dedication to supporting local healthcare professionals and contributing to the overall development of the country’s medical sector.

Three Doctors to Pursue Medical Specializations Abroad

The fully funded scholarships have been awarded to:

  • Dr. Fathimath Mishfa Naseem: Specializing in Otolaryngology (ENT – Ears, Nose, Throat)
  • Dr. Nuha Abdul Rahman: Pursuing a Master’s in Paediatrics
  • Dr. Aminath Najudha: Specializing in Surgery

All three recipients will be pursuing their advanced medical studies in Malaysia. These scholarships will not only enhance their skills but will also benefit the local healthcare system upon their return, as they bring back valuable expertise to serve the Maldivian community.

The Universal Foundation, established in 2014, has been instrumental in providing educational opportunities for Maldivian students. So far, the foundation has awarded a total of 121 scholarships, helping students pursue higher education in various fields. Currently, 15 students are studying abroad under the foundation's sponsorship, further developing their skills to contribute to the nation's growth.

In addition to scholarships, the Universal Foundation supports numerous developmental projects and social programs, working closely with the Maldivian government and other organizations. These initiatives have a wide-reaching impact, helping to uplift communities and improve the quality of life for many.
