President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has urged Maldivians to revive the traits of true Muslims, focusing on the principles of the Quran and Sunnah, during a speech commemorating the Maldives’ Embrace of Islam Day. The event is observed annually on Rabi-ul Awwal 2 in the Islamic calendar.
