MTCC Hosts Supervisors' Forum to Strengthen Quality Assurance and Leadership

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) successfully hosted its annual Supervisors' Forum, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of its staff, particularly in the areas of project management, leadership, and teamwork.

This year's forum saw active participation from 107 MTCC Site Supervisors and featured a range of practical sessions and discussions focused on improving quality assurance within the company.

During the closing ceremony, one of the participants reflected on the valuable insights gained throughout the forum. "We have learned what it means to be a leader, the essential qualities a leader must have, and how to develop ourselves into effective leaders," he said. He also emphasized the forum's practical training component, which encouraged supervisors to share ideas and explore innovative ways to enhance their work.

MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudhi addressed the participants, urging them to apply the lessons learned during the forum to ensure high standards of quality in their work. "As we strive to complete ongoing development projects and start new private sector initiatives, it's crucial that we maintain our reputation as providers of reliable and quality service," Saudhi said.

Led by heads of various MTCC divisions, the sessions focused on important topics such as time management, prompt project completion, cost reduction, and improving service quality. The forum provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, offering supervisors new perspectives on how to further develop their leadership skills and contribute to the company's growth.

The forum, organized annually by MTCC's HR department, took place from Saturday to Sunday.
